Six
I'm hiding my coffee from the beverage police in the computer lab while typing my French paper.
Was that you Nicole? Your eyes popping out? Yes, Dinkytown is still my hood.
Waving frantically at Gertrude from the seashore. I can see you on the boat! Hello?
Running out of smiles.
I prefer dark roast luv.
Yes Em, let's take some of your Vicodin.

Ikufube
The plastic over poor dolly bird was eaten away over the years, and now her National Geographic picture is partially ripped. The Chair of the Mods is sadly a bit beaten down.
Giant monsters are running around knocking down each other and toppling buildings. I'm cooking broccoli in oyster sauce, and its looking for a playmate.
I've been social lately but it's all cardboard cutouts everywhere I go. Now the neighborhood is just a giant bunch of paper doll houses and apartments. Must find the magic sous-vetements to turn everything back into normal. My stuffed cardinal stares at me, it feels as if Carly is dead though. Sorry bird.
Are you weird people from Monster Island the only people who are real? You are so cute, but so Shakespeare. I'll drown myself now.

Tomorrow
Today the unthinkable happened. You'll never guess who I ran into. No, you won't.
Yes, standing out like a black cat in a snowstorm (well, I stand out like a black cat in a snowstorm too). The soundtrack to this chilling experience was "How Could I Forget?" by the Faint, oddly enough.
I'm listening to Pearl Jam right now at work. Someone is throwing their desired merchandise down on the desk, running back and grabbing more, ad infinitum. It's been twenty minutes of this. He's nice at least.
My nose hair is trimmed, my head hair is very trimmed, and my.. as in.. "my, it's snowing like a blizzard out there."
Never mind, looking forward.

Anew
"...All of your friends are losers."
Saddle Creek Records gossip, snotty mingling, whores cooking bacon, Black Love Incense, delivery pizza, halfway through Adventures In Babysitting, the vomit of Death, frozen eyelids, 7 hours and still not clean, bagel with olive cream cheese, no key for work, Super Heros drink...
"I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour
But heaven knows I'm miserable now" - The Smiths
"A bond of trust
Has been abused
Something of value
May be lost
Give up your job
Squander your cash - be rash
Just hold on to your friends
There are more than enough
To fight and oppose
Why waste good time
Fighting the people you like
Who will fall defending your name
Oh, don't feel so ashamed
To have friends
But now you only call me
When you're feeling depressed
When you feel happy I'm
So far from your mind
My patience is stretched
My loyalty vexed
Oh, you're losing all of your friends
Hold on to your friends
Hold on to your friends
Resist - or move on
Be mad, be rash
Smoke and explode
Sell all of your clothes
Just bear in mind :
Oh, there just might come a time
When you need some friends" - Morrissey

Lip
The happy couple steps downstairs for a little rest and recreation.
I will eat unbearable tensions and more Ethiopian food this week. Snacking outlook is good. Travel outlook difficult, many dates to sort through, some convincing to be done.
"Crazy crazy world. Crazy crazy times." - R.E.M. in a song only marred by saxophone, "Fireplace".
Financial aid disbursement imminent I need a little rest and recreation myself. I need to pay my bills and satisfy my commercial connection.

Lettuce
I'm walking a little funny today. I'll leave that open to interpretation.
It is the darkest of dark days. And it's the first of this year. It has looked like the bottom layer of hell where everything is frozen for the past three hours.
This week I felt like typing out top-ten lists. Maybe in a few days. Next week looks to be interesting with Lydia, Tavia, Death, and Tom finally available. Phone at home is back up.
In an unusual dietary move I ate a Subway sandwich today.
"Turkish Delight" is a spectacular movie.
I still don't like the southern states. I know that not everyone down there is red, but that's not the problem. It's that I'm green.
Holy shit. It's fucking raining. It's like 20 degrees and it's fucking raining. Some hail too.
