Along the 9

I am in an unfamiliar neighborhood right now, very calm.. except for thinking about the laptop running out of batteries. A kid that looks like an annoying child actor ran by. In the back.. there he goes again! Is he running in circles around this place?

Yeah. In the back of my head is the argument this morning. Does Full House, the TV show, count as an example of camp? In my opinion, yes. Ah, such a heated discussion. Uncle Joey is a player on the spring break circuit, I hear. Disgusting. All I see is that mullet and that annoying personality. That man is Satan.

Still, when there are pictures of Bob Sagat parting the clouds - and when John Stamos is killed in Clone High - it's camp.

This week I've been arguing about what exactly.. what the problem is. And someone is getting paid.. but their still confused.. so therefore I shall arise at 6:30AM tomorrow and run off still wet from the shower for a more understandable bit of advice.

Emily and Shelly though were helpful this week. I gotta keep that realistic perspective when it comes to studying abroad. If it's expensive as all hell, then I better save what I can, but make it what I can too.

Back to homework. GAYS!

There goes that child actor kid. Oh.. the golden retriever in the blue truck window wants to crawl out.

Half Full

I'm listening to the Swans right now. The children in the background of the tune are damned. This is just one of the bands that I am suddenly overwhelmed with, thanks to Emily.

Spring break was so much. I ran into a few married friends, while watching some of my closest appear practically married. Seeing Walker at the Walker put me in an odd mood, but the message the next day furthered that.

Emily was sweet, funny, disturbing.. both of us were bruised by midway through due to concerts and collisions under the influence of vodka. It's not even Spring yet but it feels so much brighter. I've never reacted so well to daylight. There was the opening party at Ivy on Friday, the small crowd at the lounge on Wednesday, Nina's, several salads, popovers.. Lots to share. Memories refreshed and new ones made.

There are a lot of things to keep to myself.

Now I am overwhelmed with school. In the long, long week, I forgot that I was even a college student.

Everyone is going to bed earlier.

"If you've got the inclination, I have got the crime.."

I am currently wary of my strategery for employment. I just don't know where exactly to work this summer. I also don't know when to totally leave my current job. At least I won't be working as much as I was.. I'm just too busy for it. My teaching assistant was like "It's really bad that you couldn't come in, I could have helped you with all this stuff earlier this semester" tonight. So priorities have shifted out of academic frustration.

During this week I partook in lots of salads with Emily, a blizzard and a memorable visit, a conversation with Derek and this sci-fi dame (who spoke a lot) at the lounge, fashion emergencies, a food adventure with Luigi, Franci, and Derek, a game of Apples to Apples, and that damned slice of pizza.

But fuck, what a good week.. that's what it all comes down to. Melt on.
